SIMPLICITY
Simplicity Sold.
Launched
in May 1999 it was voted best boat at the Braunston show.
There has been a continuous programme of improvements since that time.
The latest being new cratch and rear covers, the rear being a raised cover
which cleverly slides forward and out of the way. Internally all of the
seating has been re-upholstered in leather.

Simplicity is a 63 feet semi-traditional N/B. The extended stern is great
for family/friends cruising with masses of space for very safe entertaining.
Underneath the stern deck is the latest beta marine 2203 Propgen engine
providing effortless cruising and 10.5 k. watts of electricity. A gas
free boat. If you need to turn round you are aided by a bow thruster to
take the effort out of life. You have 240 volts from the generator, the
inverter and a shoreline if required.
Inside it has a fixed double in a large bedroom with plenty of wardrobe
space and a designer dress-in-table. The large bathroom is fully fitted
with a pump-out toilet and a shower, which is large enough to share (should
you wish to save water!!!)
The galley is fully fitted for long term, or live aboard cruising and
it includes a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, a Stoves double oven and ceramic
hob, 12 volt fridge and freezer. (and, of course plenty of storage space
for the essentials like wine etc.)

The dining area is an 'L' shaped unit upholstered in leather which, can
also convert easily to another double bed.
Through into the lounge it has a leather sofa, which cleverly converts
to a large comfortable single bed in less than 30 seconds.
The heating is by a Kabola Old English diesel stove which cleanly, very
quietly and efficiently heats the boat directly and through radiators
to all areas. It also supplements the water heating whichcan be done through
the calorifier and an immersion heater.

Simplicity is beautifully hand crafted in maple with cherry trim to the
very best Kingsground standards. All you need to do is provide your crockery
and cloths and sail away.
RENAISSANCE. SOLD
"With
its oak-lined interior, simple Shaker-style cupboards and sunny yellow
curtains throughout, six-berth Renaissance has a very modern feel. It
has diesel-powered central heating and a wood-burning stove. Stepping
down into the boat from the cratch, the 11 foot saloon and 6 foot kitchen
are open-plan in design giving a very light and spacious feeling.
The
3-seater Futon in the saloon opens out to give two people an exceptionally
comfortable bed. Also in the saloon is a corner cupboard containing a
radio/CD player and shelving for books. The kitchen (cant bring
myself to call it a galley!) has a blue oven and hob, a 12
volt fridge and plenty of cupboard space. The bathroom is largely tiled
in white, with an unusual fish motif border and feature tiles, containing
a bath, shower, fitted hand basin and pump out toilet. Next comes the
main bedroom with a fixed double bed, wardrobe and overhead cupboards.
Finally,
at the stern is the multi-purpose back cabin, designed by the owners.
During the day it simply contains a bench seat arrangement with storage
under, making the boat, when entered from the rear, feel spacious and
not cramped. Either a large or small table top can be fixed in front of
the seat, or both stowed away. At night, by a simple rearrangement of
bench seat and table tops, two full-length 6 ft single beds can be constructed.
This is all fitted in a 52 traditional narrowboat to Kingsgrounds
exceptional quality and powered by the Beta Marine 1903"

Best
inland waterways vessel
Dear
Richard and Crew,
Guess you have just returned from Milton Keynes and hopefully had
another good show? TERNSTAW had her first show at Bristol Harbour
Festival and one class three for best inland waterways vessel. We
are both very proud of this achievment as she is already 14 months
old and there was alot of competition from around 60 other vessels.
Best wishes to all
Ted and Heather.
