Over the years that we’ve been building top quality narrow boats, we’ve listen to our customer and made vast improvements in the way we build boats! We’ve also listened to customers comments on the way we sell boats!
Getting involved with the two main shows, The Crick Boat Show and The National Inland Waterways Festival, not only have we been able to chat to a great number of people and show off our very high quality work but the money we pay to attend also goes to improve and assist in a great number of canal projects!
These shows are now getting very popular and have grown rapidly over the years. A great many people have made comment that this is not so good for the true narrow boat enthusiasts, who feel that these shows have been ambushed by the craft fair type exhibitors, which is an unwelcome distraction from what they’ve actually come to the show for in the first place.
It is for this reason that we have decided to put on the first Kingsground Open Day and invite companies that are relevant to our industry so you can chat with them about your requirements at your leisure.
We will also have on display around 20 boats for you to look at. Staff and some owners will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
This is intended to be a relaxing day for boat enthusiasts of all levels to concentrate on just boating business!
There will of course be no charge to enter the Open Day so please feel free to bring along as many people as you like.
Oh silly me!! I nearly forgot to mention one very important guest to the open day and the only non boating guest at that! We are very lucky to be able to secure the services of the now very famous Pan.De.Mania wood fired Pizza specialists! If you haven’t had one of there pizza’s then its worth coming just for the experience!! Have a quick look at their web site www.pandemania.co.uk I can’t think of anyone that doesn’t love pizza’s but if for some strange reason its not for you then lovely home cooked food and good beer is available at the Rock of Gibraltar pub next door.
