Kingsground was founded in 1993 by Richard Pearson. Richard's desire to produce bespoke narrowboats to the highest possible standard led to the creation of Kingsground. The pride taken in Richard's work was reflected in the quality of the first two boats to bear the Kingsground name and quickly established a demand for craft of their distinctive style and finish quality, leading Kingsground to expand into the thriving business that it is today.
With over 100 boats built and launched, Kingsground continues to turn heads on the waterways with a steady flow of unique, handcrafted narrowboats.
