Highgrove Green began with a vision — a blend of heritage charm and modern comfort. Inspired by the rolling countryside and classic British elegance, the client approached us with the idea of a narrowboat that felt timeless yet refined. They wanted something that turned heads on the water, while also serving as a peaceful, liveable retreat. The name Highgrove Green was chosen early on, reflecting both the boat’s rich, deep-green exterior and the serene sense of nature that guided the overall design.
Construction brought our team’s craftsmanship to the forefront. Every element of Highgrove Green was handcrafted at our workshop, from the steel shell to the custom cabinetry. The curved wood panelling, reclaimed hardwood flooring, and hand-painted detailing were all meticulously fitted by our in-house team. During the build, small adjustments were made to ensure everything came together seamlessly — a hallmark of Kingsground's dedication to quality and finish. The boat’s engine and systems were also carefully integrated for long-term comfort and ease of maintenance.
When Highgrove Green finally launched, it was more than just a boat — it was a statement. A celebration of craftsmanship, collaboration, and quiet luxury on the water. The final result is a floating home that feels both rooted in tradition and ready for modern adventures. Whether moored in a quiet countryside spot or cruising the network, Highgrove Green is a true reflection of what Kingsground stands for: beautifully built boats, made to be lived in and loved.
